Our History
Historically, BGSA and its members have been instrumental in the recruitment and retention efforts towards minority graduate students, especially students of African descent. Its success can be credited as a model for the formation of other under-represented student groups at Texas A&M (Notably, the Hispanic Graduate Students Association and the International Graduate Students Association).
